We partnered with 3M in 2017 to launch Featherless, the next generation of synthetic insulation. A culmination of 2 years of scientific testing, Featherless winter coats and winter vests were engineered to replace natural down insulation—with surpassed warmth and compressibility. Plus unlike a traditional down jacket or down vest, it keeps performing when wet, so it won’t add to your load on treks through rain and snow. With an eye towards sustainability, each lightweight winter jacket in our Featherless line is made with 75% recycled material to reduce its environmental footprint.
